After being let down by interior designers before, we were very wary of who would complete the redesign of our London apartment. Rachel topped our short list and after meeting with her, I immediately made my mind up. I loved her designs, and her aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for.
I sent over lots of inspiration images that I’d found on Instagram and I was excited to see what they would come up with. When we had our first design meeting I blown away by her proposal. She had seamlessly integrated all my ideas into her design and she’d absolutely understood our brief whilst giving us fresh and new concepts to integrate into our home.
She not only appreciated our style but also how we wanted our home to feel, that is a family home for our children. Her eye for detail is incredible as well as her ability to blend beautiful furniture and fixtures with practicality. For example she insisted we had wipe clean faux leather dining chairs with our small children – and of course she was right. We wanted a large TV in our living and she designed the most beautiful joinery so that it integrated perfectly into our scheme and concealed all the AV equipment.
What also impressed me from the outset was her communication with our contractors. She had already briefed them and put relationships and structures in place without us having to be a middle man. Once again it was all perfectly seamless. Throughout the process of design and construction Rachel and her team guided us with their signature creativity and professionalism. Our home was transformed into a place that was luxurious but also personal – artwork mirroring our London home, perfectly placed family photos and coffee table books reflecting our love of travel and design.
We are constantly complimented by our beautiful home and we owe it to Rachel’s talents. She truly listened to us and delivered a result that was both beautiful and welcoming.
