Rachel Winham Interior Design was commissioned to transform a newly built shell property into a forever family home. Originally developed by Knights to a standard specification, the house required interiors that better reflected the clients’ lifestyle and vision.

We reconfigured the internal layout during construction to improve flow, functionality, and family living. A carefully considered material palette of high-performance fabrics, durableporcelain surfaces, and bespoke joinery created a timeless yet practical interior. Custom upholstery, commissioned artwork, and curated accessories completed a cohesive and highly personal home.

“We were building a new home and as a result we were keen to appoint an Interior Designer to look after everything from the outset right through to the day we moved in. We contacted Rachel Winham and asked Rachel and her team for their thoughts and suggestions to see if they would be a good match for us. The team started with a phone call to discuss the project and what our expectations were. From there we had our first appointment at our then home to discuss what we liked or didn’t and to give them a chance to really get to know us and understand more about what we wanted to achieve. After a couple of presentations and minor amendments made to our brief, Rachel and her team took over the project in its entirely and managed every contractor involved throughout the process.

The team were conscious to ensure our timelines were observed, installation and budget honoured and quality of product and workmanship first class. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and have moved in with everything in place to include all the new furniture, window treatments, styling, joinery and artwork, not to mention all the help and assistance with the kitchen design, wall coverings and bathrooms. Our Games Room looks amazing and the wow feeling people get when they visit is priceless. Rachel and her team are extremely hard working and dedicated to delivering the best outcome for their clients. We absolutely love the bespoke styling and exemplary finish throughout.
